What is the Pre-Masters Programme?
This programme is designed for graduates who need to improve their level of English and their ability to study in English before starting a postgraduate degree. We can offer a wide range of subjects including Art and Design, Law, Media and Film Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing, Education and many others.
Course Modules
- General and Academic English and preparation for IELTS in multi-national groups of up to 15 students
- One-to-One tutorial programme designed in consultation with the Course Director with one session of 50 minutes every 2 weeks. This consists of a task-based programme of research work and assignments in the students`chosen subject, with feedback and help from your tutor. The tutorial also provides anvopportunity to carry out remedial work and target individual needs.
- IT optionv - for students present from january to july, there is an IT training option on Friday afternoons. We offer word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, graphs, integration and presenting a document.

What are Semester and Academic Year Courses?
They are flexible programmes suitable for students between school and university or work and those intending to go on to a British university. Choose from 28 or 36 week courses and 20 or 25 lessons per week.

- General English: development of language and communication skills
- Extra Conversation: focus on oral fluency and self-expression
- Social English: learn the language useful for everyday social, study or work life
- Business English: English as an international language at work
- Academic English: acquire the language skills for academic study
- Cambridge Examinations: First Certificate, Advanced or Proficiency
- IELTS or TOEFL Preparation: English for entry to an English-speaking university

Pre-Masters
Eligibility: Applicants for the Pre-Masters Programme should have a first degree
Timetable: 1 lesson=50 minutes. 25 lessons=21 hours tuition, 20 lessons=17 hours tuition
Minimum age: Pre-Masters Programme: 21 Semester and Academic Year Courses
Please choose Course 8 if you want to study Social or Business English during your course.
